OUR HISTORY

Peek A Boo is a family owned and operated business that came to be between a father and his daughter. A father that was a Medical Doctor for Internal Medicine in his country of birth, Cuba, when he immigrated to the United States in 1999 he continued working in the medical field until he was able to bring his wife and daughter, and now business partner; for a chance at a better life. A daughter who graduated from St. Thomas University College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree specializing in Criminal Litigation and Healthcare Transactions. Two professionals working towards a common goal; to improve the care and quality of life of the medically complex children and young adults in South Florida.

PEEK A BOO PEDIATRIC CARE’S PROGRAM

Children with a medical diagnosis are admitted to Peek A Boo Pediatric Care through a referral process. The process starts by contacting Peek A Boo Pediatric Care directly for a nurse to schedule an initial assessment (IA) with you and your child. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your child’s needs and ensure that Peek A Boo Pediatric Care is the right fit for you and your child. Referrals can come from a variety of sources which can be discussed during the IA.

At our center you can count on licensed staff which includes: RNs (Registered Nurses), LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses), CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Caregivers. Our skilled staff is highly trained to care for your child, their medical conditions, and maintain close interaction with your child on a day to day basis that makes it easy for the nurse to adjust to changes in your child’s medical condition. This relationship typically results in early intervention to avoid complication on your child’s health status, prevent hospitalization, and track improvements. Our team is fluent in English, Spanish, and Creole.
